The Scale Control R is designed to extend the lifespan of your Quooker tank. It is the most reliable de-scaler for Quooker systems and improves the taste of water in hard water areas. The Scale Control R consists of a connection set and a cartridge. Once the cartridge is saturated, the system will give an audible signal so you know to order a replacement cartridge. The lifespan of a Scale Control R cartridge will vary depending on water hardness and usage. It will last on average 18 to 24 months. The used cartridge needs to be returned to Quooker where it will be refurbished, recycled and reused to reduce waste.
